I just wanted people to know that David was instrumental in getting things moving for us to convert our old dilapidated Methodist Chapel into a new Village Hall. I rang David and asked him to help us to resolve an impasse we had with the legal team at Manchester. He was brilliant and because of his intervention we were able to proceed and gain lottery funding. We now have been operating since 2013 and have a very successful village hub.

I was very sorry to learn of his death.
